Dr. Hanan Alismail is an Assistant Professor of clinical laboratory science. Dr. Alismail’s degrees include a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Arkansas (UARK), United States, a Master (M.Sc.) in    Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Arkansas (UARK), USA, and a Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Clinical Laboratory Science from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Hanan Alismail Joined the College of Applied Medical Sciences (CAMS) as Assistant Professor in January 2019. She participates in teaching theoretical and practical part of Immunohematology, Blood Bank, and Immunology/ Virology courses Dr. Alismail had a broad scientific knowledge and technical experience in the molecular cell, material chemistry, and nanotechnology. Her research mainly focuses on developing new technology to improve current diagnostic tools in the health profession, especially in the field of cancer detection and diagnostics. Her Ph.D. work focused on the development of a new free label sensory bio-scaffold to detect and differentiate different types of cancer cells within seconds of time. One of her main objectives is to cooperate and collaborate with highly achieved and talented professionals to develop new upfront technology to be first introduced by scientists in Saudi Arabia.
