Second Awareness Stroke Day
The Emergency Medical Services Department in cooperation with the Student Club, has initiated on 23-26 October,2016 the Stroke Campaign under the theme “Let’s Take Care of Our Lives".
The event was held in the outpatient clinic building joining the hospital Stroke Awareness Week activities that were arranged by the Department of Medicine, Neurology Division in cooperation with the Saudi Society of Stroke.
The COAMS students, under the supervision of the Teaching Assistant Mr. Abdullah Al Shibani and Mr. Ali Al Amri from the Student Affairs, contributed to organize the three day event which aimed to raise the public awareness toward this illness.
The Emergency Medical Services Department is thanking the Deanship Office in the College of Applied Medical Sciences, the student affairs, the Student Club and all the administrative supporting staff for their efforts and kind support that led to the achievement and meeting the objectives of the activity.
