The Community Nutrition Education Event
The first batch students’ of the Clinical Nutrition Sciences Program (CLNS), have designed a wide range of Nutrition programs that aimed to provide nutrition information, education, and increase health awareness.
These programs targeted different populations groups such as work places, schools, high risk groups or the general public. The main aspects that students took into consideration when designing these programs consist in the identification and assessment of nutrition problems in the community as well as the design, implementation of the awareness program. This educational activity was a part of the Community Nutrition course and under the supervision of Ms. Aseel Al Qublan, a lecturer at CLNS program.

The Community Nutrition Education Event
On Tuesday the 8th of November 2016, a closing event was arranged at the large auditorium/ College of Medicine to display the students’ community programs and to discuss their feedback of this experience.
