NCAAA Why Is It Importent
The college of Applied Medical Sciences faculty development program has organized two workshops regarding NCAAA (The National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment) documents. The course and field experience specification workshop was on Tuesday 20 Oct 2015 and the course and field experience report workshop was on Tuesday 03 Nov 2015. Both workshops were conducted by Prof. Saleh Al Oraibi, Chairman of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit. COAMS, KSAU-HS. The workshops were attended by over 50 faculty members and administrative staff from different colleges. The aims of these workshops were:
- Recognize the nature of NCAAA documents and its contents.
- Align an understanding of the relationship between domains of learning, teaching methods, and assessment methods.
- Complete and write the course and field experience specification and report using the right NCAAA forms for a new course.
- Ability to transfer the existing courses data into NCAAA forms correctly.
