Stroke Awareness Campaign
The Emergency Medical Services Department has conducted the Stroke Awareness campaign in cooperation with the Students’ Club from the College of Applied Medical Sciences under the theme “Let’s Take Care Of Our Lives.”
On the first day, the 28th Oct, 2014, the event was held in the outpatient clinic building joining the hospital Stroke Awareness Week activities that were arranged by the Department of Medicine, Neurology Division in cooperation with the Saudi Society of Stroke. On the second day, the 29th Oct, 2014, the event was held in the College of Applied Medical Sciences lobby to raise the awareness about the stroke among the whole university staff & students.

Prof. Ali Al Tuwaijri, Dean, Deanship of Students Affairs & Dr. Badr Al Muqbil, Associate Dean, Deanship of Students Affairs attended the activity & participated in appreciation the participants. On the third day, 30th Oct, 2014, the campaign moved to the hospital at the Emergency Medicine Department aiming to extend the activity to a larger number of public that may benefit from those educational events.
