International Childhood Cancer Day
On Thursday the 14 February 2019, CLNS program students’ have represented the College of Applied Medical Sciences (COAMS) in the International Childhood Cancer Day that was held at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital.
The students supervised the Nutrition booth and provided awareness about the recommended dietary intake for cancer patients in line with the latest research and scientific studies. A nutritional status evaluation of the children was conducted by measuring their weight/height and comparing them to the standard growth chart for this age.
