Mr. Abdulmajeed Al Otaibi
Profile:
Mr. Abdulmajeed Alotaibi is a lecturer in Radiological Sciences Program at King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz University for Health Sciences (CAMS\KSAU-HS) where he has been a faculty member since September, 2017. He served before joining our school as MRI specialist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center. Mr. Alotaibi was awarded his master degree of sciences in Biomedical Imaging (Research/Clinical tracks) from Boston University and his undergraduate studies in Medical Imaging from Southern Illinois University in the United States. He also finished his first internship in cross-sectional imaging at Baptist Health Paducah in Kentucky, USA followed by another clinical and research internship in Neuroimaging at Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts, USA. He has been certified by ARRT to work in the US within his field since 2016. Mr. Alotaibi is being involved in teaching multi-disciplinary courses within the program of Radiological Sciences; particularly, Computed Tomography/Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CT/MRI Track) courses given to the fourth year. Also, he has started coordinating and overseeing the clinical internship program for radiology interns since the beginning of this year. In speaking of research interests, he primarily focuses on the areas of neuroimaging and prostatic imaging and how the medical imaging technology can contribute to improving the related clinical outcomes.
