Course Schedule: Block system (Consists of 6 Weeks)
This block is subdivided into two components renal system and endocrine system. Renal system being the major component will be covered in first three weeks, it includes anatomy and physiology related to renal system. In addition, acute and chronic renal failure and other common diseases related will be discussed. Followed by an endocrine component of the block will be taught from 4th to 6th week of the course. It will cover the relevant anatomy and physiology with a focus on diabetes mellitus, major body glands and their disorders with relevant anesthetic implications.
