This course is designed to provide students with the adequate skills that ensure appropriate delivery of care to patients undergoing echocardiographic examination. The course covers the most important skills that are required during patient contact. Communication skills, documentation notes, professional attitude, physical care and patient safety are the main themes of the course. This course gives students the opportunity to learn and practice direct patient care skills through a classroom lecture format and during their practical field experience sessions.
