    The role of the library in health sciences is to provide a learning center where students, faculty members and the staff of the organization can develop the skills and knowledge needed to enhance the quality of healthcare with multidisciplinary approach, which incorporates discussion, lectures and hands-on trainings. Under the vision of College of Applied Medical Sciences, the Library is committed to provide the highest quality of learning environment through innovative methods of retrieving, storage and sharing of information for lifelong learning. With the Core Values of the College:

    The library of the College of Applied Medical Sciences is located on the second floor of the Academic Center and serves all students, faculty, and staff of our college. The Library houses extensive collections in the clinical and basic sciences for supporting the curriculums of our departments.

    Borrowers Responsibilities:

      • Borrowers are responsible for the care of library items borrowed from the Library until the items have been discharged at the Library.
      • Borrowers should report lost or stolen borrowers' cards to Circulation immediately, so that the Library may block use of the card.
      • Borrowers should keep track of due dates for items they have checked out.
      • Borrowers should return material promptly by the due date or the renewal date. The Library fines as per policy of APP-HSL on users who do not return items by the due date. There is no grace period for overdue material.
      • Borrowers should respond promptly to all notices to help minimize the occurrence of overdue fines.
      • Borrowers must clear all obligations with the Library before leaving the University.

  • Student's Club

    The headquarters of volunteer students to participate in student activities in various fields such as cultural, social, sports, media or other fields. Goals: Contribute to introduce the university and the college through active participation in various activities. Enhance communication between students and college administrations. Manage, arrange and develop the activities hosted by Deanship of Student Affairs. Organize students’ participations in the activities to give each student a chance to participate. Establish a strong and loyal relationship between the students and the university. Develop students' abilities, talents and experiences in various fields. Create an effective and attractive environment for the students. Develop the awareness of students’ opportunities available on campus and encourage them to participate and be active in all activities. Each student has the right to be a member of the Student’s Club. Registration is open for the membership annually by filling out the registration form.

    Cultural team:

    • 1. Each student will be assigned an email account.
    • 2. Students must change their password once their email account is issued.
    • 3. Student affairs will use Emails as an official means of communication with the students.
    • 4. Students should check their Emails at least once daily.

    Student's Club Teams:

    Cultural team: Its mission is to contribute to the supervision of the program ARSHEDNY (Guide me), and organize lectures, exhibitions, cultural competitions, and development courses in various fields of personal skills improvement which will contribute to achieve the university's role in building an integrated scientific and behavioral person in order to be able to blend successfully in the practical field.

    Social team: Its mission is to organize the student participations in the health awareness campaigns in the society to help achieve the goals of the university that related to the development of the community health education. Also, organize the participation in Global Health and Awareness Days, so the students and the community will be more familiar and educated in these activities.

    Sport team: is a management information system to manage student data, provide capabilities for registering students in courses; documenting grading, transcripts, results of student tests and other assessment scores; tracking student attendance; and managing many other student-related data needs in COAMS.

    Media team: Its mission is to cover all programs and activities hosted by the Student’s Club and publish them in media.

  • Well-student center

    Providing psychological support for all students in order to help them overcome academic life stress and difficulties in addition to providing suitable environment that inspires the personal and academic growth of students in all levels

    The center can help the students with:

      • Social Stress & Exam stress
      • Depression
      • Borrowers should keep track of due dates for items they have checked out.
      • Phobia.
      • Addiction .
      • Time management .
      • Family issues .

    Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • King Abdullah International Medical Research Center

    The Research Center represents the research arm of the University. The center has a vision to be a leading international health science research institution. COAMS has its own research activities, in which faculty members and students’ contributions help the university to reach international standards, and maintain that status.

  • Sport complex


    King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for health science has sports and GYM facilities which enable the University to host various events.

  • University Health Center


    At the university health center student will be seen by a family medicine physician. The center located inside the university campus opposite to the recreation center.

  • Transportation

    Tram:
    The tram links the males’ campus with the KASCH, the KAMC, the females’ campus & the accommodation. Waiting in the station will not exceed more than 10 minutes.

    Taxis:
    The NGHA is providing this service. To book a ride, you can simply dial 011 8044500 or 85 -44500.

    Car Permit Sticker:
    The Security and Safety Department will issue sticker for student’s car in order to be allowed to park in the proper area at COAMS.
