Farewell Party

On 30th of November 2016, the EMS Department celebrated a send-off party for Mr. Abdulrahman Al Ghamdi & Mr. Meshary Bin Hotan as they continue with their journey to the PhD program in United Kingdom. The faculties and administrative staffs would like to convey their sincerest appreciation for the best efforts and support they have given to the students and the department.

Internship Orientation

 The Emergency Medical Services Department has recently arranged an Internship Orientation to the coming interns who are starting their internship in August 2017.

Second Awareness Stroke Day

The Emergency Medical Services Department in cooperation with the Student Club, has initiated on 23-26 October,2016 the Stroke Campaign under the theme “Let’s Take Care of Our Lives".

COAMS Celebrates the International Approval of Occupational Therapy Program

Under the patronage of Professor Youssef Al- Eissa , The Vice President of King Abdulaziz University of Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), the College of Applied Medical Sciences (COAMS) and the Saudi Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) celebrated the international approval of Occupational Therapy Program of COAMS as well as the full membership of SOTA by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). The Occupational Therapy Program at KSAU-HS is currently the only program in the Kingdom and in the Gulf region that is approved by WFOT , and SOTA is the only Occupational Therapy Association in the Gulf Region that grants the full membership status of the WFOT.

7th International Saudi Critical Care Society Conference 2016

The students club in College of Applied Medical Sciences (Male and Female) has participated in the 7th International Critical Care Conference which is organized by the Saudi Society for Critical Care. The conference took place at Burj Rafal Kempinski hotel in Riyadh from 17 April 2016 to 21 April 2016.

Students Participation in the 5th Conference of the Saudi Society for Respiratory Care

In the continuity of activities at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, students of the Respiratory Therapy Program participated recently in the Fifth Conference of the Saudi Society for Respiratory Care. Four research papers were submitted to represent King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
