Renewal of Appointment of Dr. Abdullah Foraih Alanazi as Dean, College Of Applied Medical Sciences
KSAU-HS for a two-year term. In this capacity,Dr. Alanazi will remain responsible for the academic and administrative management, development and commissioning of this new College. This appointment will be in addition to his responsibilities and duties as Consultant, Pediatric Emergency, Division of Pediatric Emergency, KAMC-R.
Dr. Alanazi is a graduate of King Saud University, obtaining his MBBS in 1996 He joined the Pediatric Residency Training Program at King Fahad Hospital, KAMCRiyadh(1997-2001), and obtained his Saudi and Arab Board Certificates in General Pediatrics in 2002, He completed a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship (2003-2005) at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto in 2005 and Pediatric Trauma Fellowship (2005-2006) at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, University of Ottawa in 2006. He obtained a Master of Medical Education from KSAU-HS, Riyadh (2010).
Dr. Alanazi was credentialed as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, College of Medicine, Riyadh (COM-R) in April 2007; and was promoted to Associate Professor in September 2012. He was Director of Emergency Medical Services, COAMS-R from March 2009 to May 2011 and Director of Pediatric Fellowship program from May 2007 to May 2011. He appointed as Dean, COAMS-R in May 2011.
