Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit
Mission:
The QAAA unit in College of Applied Medical Sciences aims to apply an internal quality assurance system throughout the college to increase performance sufficiency according to the certified quality standers by developing the skills of faculty and staff at the college which will eventually achieve the university goals.
Vision:
The vision of QAAA unit at College of Applied Medical Sciences is to fulfil an unequal excellence in academic performance among all kingdoms’ colleges by achieving continuous development and obtaining academic accreditation for all programs in the college.
Responsibilities:
- Introducing quality awareness among the college staff and faculty by making workshops and conferences related to quality.
- Supervising quality and accreditation documents for the academic departments at the college and providing necessary help.
- Evaluating and reviewing quality documents and submitting those documents to the National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment (NCAAA) through the college deanship.
- Developing and enhancing the quality of the academic programs in the college.
- Evaluating academic performance levels and making periodic reports.
- Providing necessary support for all academic programs in the college related to quality and accreditation.
- Recognizing points of academic improvement and working on achieving it.
- Performing any tasks assigned to the unit by the college deanship.
